My web store is all about staying healthy and leading a healthy productive life. I welcome any comments and questions concerning my store and its content.
This website is all about staying healthy. You might wonder about that and say, "what has art and crafts have to do about staying healthy". That's a good question. Besides eating properly, what are some of the best ways to stay healthy. The answer to that is,
- Keep a healthy outlook on life
- Keep your mind occupied with useful activities
- Maintain a healthy environment
- Exercise regularly with whatever frequency you can
- Hopefully at least 20 to 30 minutes daily
- Eat the right kind of food to maintain healthy and strong bones
- Calcium, and antioxidants, with lots of green vegetables
- Along with the Calcium above, you should be taking vitamin D and Magnesium these help the Calcium to assimilate into your body.
This web site is being designed with those tenets in mind. We have found one of the best ways to exercise is to hike, the more the better. This site will try to address that issue as well. The outdoors is probably one of the best, if not the best place to clear ones mind. Although there is no page on the site devoted to the outdoors, in the days or weeks ahead, we plan to provide, in detail, places to hike and instructions on how to get started hiking and places to hike which have been explored by us. For those who can't wait, you can contact me at the following www.jlsglobalenterprises.com .

Hi,my name is John L. Shellabarger, I am a retired Chemist (UC Berkeley, 1959). I am also an artist and craftsman. I have been "oil painting for over 20 years and do leather craft as well when I have the time. I live in Goleta, California, and have been here for the past 35 years.
Goleta is a little town just west of Santa Barbara. It is nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal mountains. The Los Padres National Forest is located in those mountains and is a great place to hike and backpack. I have been hiking in the forest for over 30 years and have explored most of the major trails and places to go there. I expect to continue to do this for several more years.
If you are reading this and was wondering about where to go, you might want to contact me and we can talk about that. I have lead several trips deep into the interior of the Los Padres National Fores. I have visited several "Rock art" sites of the Chumash Indians. Some of these sites are easy to get to, while others take a considerable amount of time and effort to get there. There are over 100 sites scattered around the forest with about a third here in Santa Barbara Goleta area. I know and have visited most of these. There are also a few in the Ojai area which I have visited as well.
